District Meet at Parkway Central

District meet is tomorrow. The bus is leaving at 8:15 AM. We would love to have anyone from the team show up and ride over with us. Varsity Boys race at 9:30 and the Varsity Girls are at 10:15. The more support we have the better. Go Longhorns.

We will be taking a bus from school to the meet. Please bring all items with you to school. Make sure to get plenty of rest, and drink A LOT of water, the next two days. Run Fast!

To Senior Cross Country Parents--

Mrs. Melton sent a flier home today concerning the end of the year banquet. In years past the senior parents have organized the dessert extravaganza. Thanks to all the parents and staff of West high for helping make the West Invitational a success. If you do get a chance thank Coach Shepherd. The majority of his family was there making sure everything ran smoothly. I will post my comments and results a bit later. Have fun at the team dinner!

COURSE MARSHALLS

This is just a friendly reminder that Saturday is the West Invitational. We have a list of parent volunteers to be course marshalls for the meet. Please meet former coach Jeff Dee at the finish chute at around 8:30 A.M. the morning of the race. He will be in charge of your placement etc. on the course.
